Participated in First Ever Virtual CLE Put On by Lackawanna County Bar Association

On June 9, 2020 I participated in the first ever Lackawanna Bar Association Virtual/Zoom CLE in the history of that Bar.

The program was entitled "Mediation/Arbitration Tips" and, in addition to myself, also featured Judge Thomas Blewitt (ret.), Richard G. Fine, Thomas M. Helbig, Lucille Marsh, Judge Joseph Van Jura (ret.), and Judge Thomas I. Vanaski (ret.).

Assistance with the creation of the powerpoint presentation as well as with the technology on the day of the event was provided by JP Cardoni of Exhibit A (www.ExhibitAdigital.com).

I send thanks to all of the presenters, to Exhibit A, and to the Lackawanna Bar Association for putting on this event.

This is timely seminar given that some courts indicating that there will be no new civil jury trials between now and the end of the year in light of ongoing fears with the Covid-19 pandemic.  Please consider retaining any of us for a possible ADR proceeding to help bring your case to a close now rather than 6-12 months from now.

Please note that an encore presentation of this Zoom CLE will be put on for the Luzerne County Bar Association with the same participants on July 10, 2020 at 1 p.m.

That program will have more spaces for attendees (up to 200) and will be open to both members and non-members of the Luzerne County Bar Association (with a small fee charged for non-members).

Details to follow soon.........
