According to the May 16, 2014 edition of the Luzerne Legal Register, the
Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas has issued an Order amending Luzerne
County Local Rule of Civil Procedure 1018.1 to require that any notice to defend
attached to any Complaint filed by a Plaintiff or any Complaint filed by a
Defendant against an Additional Defendant shall begin with a form Notice to Defend
provided which sets forth the required language in both English and Spanish. To review a copy of the proposed new form
