Professional Announcement - Writing for the Pennsylvania Trial Advocacy Handbook

I have been retained by the George T. Bisel Company, Inc., a publisher of Pennsylvania legal treatises, to be the new writer of the annual supplement for the Pennsylvania Trial Advocacy Handbook.

This book was originally written by Milford J. Meyer, J.D., LL.D. (dec'd) and the supplement was written for the past many years by Arthur S. Zanan, M.L.S., J.D., out of Montgomery County. Attorney Zanan has passed the torch to me in terms of the Pennsylvania Trial Advocacy Handbook, but plans to keep up his efforts with respect to supplementing the other Pennsylvania legal treatises he writes for every year.

I thank Attorney Zanan for sending this opportunity my way and I thank Anthony J. DiGoia, Esquire, the Editor in Chief at Bisel for allowing me to tackle this new venture.

Dan, congratulations. I did not have the opportunity of meeting Arthur Zanan but did have the pleasure of knowing Milford Meyer. I observed Milford in litigation on several occasions when he was trial counsel in federal court and used his handbook numerous times when I was preparing for and participating in trials. Dan, you will very nicely fill his shoes. Again, congratulations.
