Back in July, a post was put up here on Tort Talk summarizing the case of Comrie v. Atlantic State Ins. Co., PICS
Case No. 14-096 (C.P. Monroe Co. May 29, 2014 Zulick, J.), in which Judge Arthur Zulick
of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas granted a UIM carrier’s Motion to
Sever and Stay the bad faith portion of the claims asserted in a
post-Koken matter.
I have since secured a copy of this Opinion and invite anyone who wishes to secure a copy to please contact me at dancummins@comcast.net.
I send thanks to Attorney Rob Smith of the Moosic, PA office of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin for sending a copy to my attention.
