According to a November 17, 2015
Pennsylvania Law Weekly article by Ben Seal entitled "Judicial Retirement Age Heads Towards Public Vote," a recent Pennsylvania Senate vote cleared the way for voters to decide a ballot question during the April 26, 2016 primary election on whether or not to raise the mandatory retirement age for judges from 70 to 75.
